Re invent client, getting ready for the Sydney Golden Slipper 2019

Our client Just horse racing, is always busy around the golden slipper. below is some information about the slipper and his business:

The showpiece event of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival is the Longines Golden Slipper, a 1200 metre contest for two year olds run every year at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney. It carries Group l status and is worth near $3.5 Million in prizemoney. It is one leg of the Australian racing ‘Grand Slam’, alongside the Caulfield Cup, Cox Plate and Melbourne Cup.

For the most part, the Golden Slipper usually has a standout two year old but in 2019, there isn’t one you can say is the clear horse to beat. There are many horses willing to put their hands up to claim the richest two year old race in the world. Heading that list is Magic Millions winner Sunlight, trained by Tony McEvoy, who was specifically targeted for the feature on the Gold Coast and duly saluted. She was given a break immediately and is now being prepped for the Slipper, kicking off in one of the traditional lead ups, the Silver Slipper (1100m), on February 24.

In terms of the Sydney youngsters, the number one seed is the Chris Waller trained Performer. This colt debuted with a brilliant win in the Breeders Plate, a race that often produces leading Slipper contenders and winners. He was immediately spelled and resumed in the Canonbury in a five horse field where he had to dig in late but produced some outstanding splits to get the job done. He too will more than likely head towards the Silver Slipper en route to the Golden Slipper. Chris Waller isn’t known as a master trainer of two year olds but he has a really nice colt here.

One from left field to keep an eye on is Sweet Ava, a filly trained by Gerald Ryan. She debuted with an electric win at Canterbury and was spelled with the Slipper in mind. Gerald Ryan is a brilliant trainer of younger horses and he looks to have a smart filly on her hands. She recently won a Rosehill barrier trial and will resume in the few weeks leading up to the Golden Slipper.
